DuoVault Subscription and Billing Policy

Last updated: October 23, 2026 · Google Play billing terms effective November 22, 2026

1. Plans

Prices may differ by country or region; the amount charged is the one shown on the purchase screen and in the App Store or Google Play. The storage limit is the same on every plan.

2. Payment and subscription

  1. Products: DuoVault Premium is offered as a monthly (com.xti.duovault.premium.monthly) or yearly (com.xti.duovault.premium.annual) auto-renewing subscription. The App Store and Google Play use the same product IDs.
  2. Payment: Payments in the iPhone app go through Apple App Store In-App Purchase, and payments in the Android app go through Google Play's billing system, charged at the price shown in each store at signup. Payment information such as card details is managed by Apple or Google, not the Company.
  3. Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and the same amount is charged at renewal.
  4. Free trial and conversion: First-time buyers of the yearly plan may get a 7-day free trial (where eligible under App Store or Google Play rules). Whether a trial applies and the price afterwards are shown on the purchase screen; by confirming the purchase you agree that the subscription converts and is charged automatically at the yearly price when the trial ends. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends and you will not be charged.
  5. Before renewal: Apple (iPhone app) or Google (Android app) handles billing and renewals. Apple sends receipts and subscription notices to your Apple ID email, and Google sends receipts to your Google account email. You can check the next billing date and amount at any time in App Store subscription settings or Google Play subscriptions (section 3).

3. Canceling (turning off auto-renewal)

  • iPhone app: Settings › Manage Subscription takes you straight to App Store subscription settings.
  • iOS: Settings → Apple ID (profile) → Subscriptions → DuoVault → Cancel Subscription
  • Android app: in Settings › Manage Subscription, tap "Manage Subscription" again to open Google Play subscriptions.
  • Android: Play Store app → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → DuoVault → Cancel subscription
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and Premium benefits remain until then.

4. Expiration and grace period

  • When a subscription expires, existing Premium benefits are retained for a 7-day grace period, after which the account moves to the free policy (21-day viewing window · 30-second videos). The 20GB storage limit does not shrink.
  • Existing data is not deleted after expiration and remains accessible within the free policy limits.

5. Price changes and refunds

  1. Price changes: Changes are announced in advance, and price increases apply from the next renewal. If you do not agree, you can cancel before renewal.
  2. Refunds (iPhone app · App Store): Refunds for App Store payments follow Apple's refund policy and can be requested at reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple collects and refunds payments, so please file refund requests with Apple. If you have trouble getting help through Apple, email [email protected] and the Company will assist as required by law.
  3. Refunds (Android app · Google Play): Refunds for Google Play payments follow Google Play's refund policy. Within 48 hours of purchase you can request one directly from Google Play (play.google.com → Payments & subscriptions → Budget & order history → Report a problem). After 48 hours, or if Google Play does not resolve it, email [email protected]; the Company will review the request as required by law and, if it qualifies, refund it through Google Play.

5-2. Withdrawal of purchase

  1. Under Korean law (Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, Article 17), you may withdraw a purchase within 7 days of buying it (or of receiving the contract details).
  2. Premium is digital content that starts as soon as you buy it, so withdrawal may be limited once you start using it. To let you try it first, the Company offers free features (the 21-day viewing window and more) and a 7-day free trial on the yearly plan, and states this on the purchase screen and in this policy. You may withdraw for the part of a monthly or yearly subscription not yet provided, as permitted by law.
  3. If Premium is provided differently from what was advertised or agreed, you may withdraw within 3 months of receiving it, or within 30 days of finding out.
  4. Withdrawals and refunds go through the refund process in section 5. For iPhone app (App Store) payments this is Apple's refund process; for Android app (Google Play) payments, email [email protected] to withdraw and the Company will refund you through Google Play (within 48 hours of purchase you can also ask Google Play directly).

6. Sharing subscription benefits

  • If either partner has an active Premium subscription, both users receive Premium benefits for the couple vault.
  • Subscription status is shared between couple vault partners for the purpose of determining benefits.

6-2. Contact and dispute resolution

  • Billing questions: [email protected]
  • If a dispute is not resolved, users in Korea can apply for mediation to the Content Dispute Resolution Committee (www.kcdrc.kr · 1588-1500) or the Korea Consumer Agency (1372).
  • Business: XTI Co., Ltd. · CEO Cho Seungkyu · Business registration no. 362-87-03342 · Mail-order business registration 2025-서울영등포-1422 · 2F, 94 Yangcheon-ro, Gangseo-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea

7. Related terms

Anything not covered here follows the DuoVault Terms of Use, together with Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) for the iPhone app and the Google Play Terms of Service for payments in the Android app.
